KRAMER'S BEST ANTIQUE IMPROVER
Sales Aids
No matter how good a product is, top sales ultimately depend on an attractive and functional display.
We repeatedly tell our dealers that the very best sales tool is the "Before / After" samples—pieces where half has been treated with the product and the other half left in its original "found" condition. The larger and more dramatic these pieces, the better. They will catch the customers' attention and show them just what they can expect from using Kramer's Best. We have found that without these "attention getters", prospective customers may just glance at the product, assume it is like the others they have tried that didn't work, and just pass on by. When they see the samples it gets their attention, and they realize that maybe this one is different. They take the time to take a closer look. This is when, in addition to a significant quantity of the products, it is important to have informational materials available.
We want to help our dealers, as much as is possible, with
effective sales tools. However, as a small company, we are not able
to justify production of large numbers of "give-away" display shelving,
etc., nor would we want to. We feel we have a product that lends
itself to being offered in a unique way by each dealer in their individual
situation, using a variety of available shelves or cabinets in creative
ways. Through trial-and-error at shows and in our own displays
we have developed the selection of signage and display pieces shown here
for you to use to accent your arrangement, make the products easily identified
as "Kramer's", and provide helpful information. Choose what will
work best in your particular display. We intend to add to this selection
from time to time. We invite your input and suggestions.
Brochures
We have put much effort and expense into producing and supplying
the 16-page "Instructions & Suggested Uses" brochure. In it
we have tried to explain, as completely and clearly as possible, the different
uses of the products, and instructions and information about how
to use them. To our knowledge it surpasses the amount and quality
of information being furnished with any other consumer product of this
type. It is not that Kramer's Best products are difficult
to use, but that there are so many ways to use them. We take seriously
our commitment to assure that once a customer has put their faith in us
by making a decision to invest in purchasing our products, that they are
able to use them effectively and to their best benefit. This brochure
is very important. Each time you place an order you will receive one of
these for each bottle that you order, to be given to your customer with
their purchase. To help convey to shoppers that these books are
not "free giveaways", we have imprinted a price of "$1.95" on the front
of each, and also the words "Free With Purchase". We do occasionally
have customers who want to purchase them and that is fine
— it contains a lot of good information. If
you would like to purchase additional brochures for sale or to give away,
they are available.

"What Is Antique Improver" Fliers
It is always good to have some free information
available to be able to offer to prospective customers. Since the
Instruction booklets are just too expensive to be used as "giveaways",
we have produced the small salmon-colored flier. Under the "What
Is Antique Improver" heading, John Kramer has briefly described
the products and what they can do. There is an order blank/price
list on the other side. See the Dealer Information page for suggestions about using
the fliers and credit they can earn for you. They come in pads of
100, or are available unpadded for use in the flier holder. One
pad of these fliers is included with each order (more with large orders).

Counter Display Card
This 11" x 17" counter card is an established
part of the Kramer's Best display. It is part of the "New-Dealer
Display Kit" which is included with the first order of every new dealer.
The copy from this piece is also Duplicated on the signage of the Counter-Top
Display. It is black print, silk screened on white 48 pt. card stock
with a sturdy cardboard easel back and is designed to be placed behind
the bottles in your display. It works well on a counter or shelf.

Brochure Holder
The Brochure Holder and the Flier Holder (shown
below) are hand crafted of red oak with Antique Improver as the
finish. Print at the top has been silk screened onto the wood.
A metal rack mounted on the front holds the "Instructions and Suggested
Uses" brochure in place. This holder allows the brochures to be
attractively displayed, but also points out that they are ONLY free with
purchase, but may be purchased separately for $1.95.

Flier
Holder
This display piece is designed to hold the "What
Is Antique Improver" fliers. It matches the Brochure Holder
(shown above) and is also made of red oak with a metal rack to hold the
fliers. The silk-screened copy features the logo, brief product
information and an invitation to "Please Take One". It can be used
in conjunction with the product display, or in a separate location (such
as the check-out counter) for added visibility in order to create more

This 20-inch Kramer's Best Antique Improver
logo, silk screened on foam core, dramatically draws attention to
your display at a show or in your shop. An easel back is included
or you may wish to mount it on a wall or back of a booth.

"Before / After Samples"
photo sheet and display holder
"Before/after" samples of using Kramer's products
(pieces where we treat one side and leave the other part in its original
condition) are what we credit for excellent sales at shows and in our
mall booths. On this 8 1/2 x 11-inch sheet, we have included photos
of some of these samples. Since August, 2001, we have been including
this sheet in the New-Dealer Kit, and also sending a copy to dealers with
their orders. We have done this on a trial basis. We have
found the feedback to be very positive and we hear reports of increased
sales as a result of display of these photos. We will continue to
send out this sheet as we have been and encourage you to include it in
your display. Holders for these are available at office supply stores.
We now also have available a holder which works very well and you may
purchase the sign, plus holder.

Video Tape or DVD
We have available a video John Kramer has made which consists of two segments. The first one was filmed in 1993 and is a brief introduction to the products. The other was done in 2006 at the time we learned that Turpentine was no longer available in this country and due to import costs a significant price increase was necessary. In it he explains: "Why does it have to cost so much?". To run this video you will need a machine that can be set on "Repeat Play". This is a proven valuable sales tool. If you are in a high-traffic location, this is a very worthwhile investment.

Coffee Mug & Tumbler
We are very proud to have the Kramer's logo on
these very traditional hand-crafted stoneware pottery pieces. They
are individually hand thrown, giving each its own unique personality.
The color is a natural tan with black imprinting. The tumbler is
identical to the mug except it has no handle — use it for drinks, or as
a holder for pencils, etc. . . .
